I lead a national education initiative for the Folger, specifically to promote one-day and week-long workshops around the country. I've worked with the Library since 1986. In 1996, I was the Director of the NEH sponsored "Teaching Shakespeare Institute."

My work with the ESU consisted of training teachers to teach Shakespeare in our 78 Branch communities around the country . I also worked on the National Shakespeare Competition. In addition, I conceived and maintained an international on-line discussion group called Global Conversations.

Designed and teach a three-day summer workshop for teachers from 2005 to the present

Designed and teach an after-school professional development series of eight 2-hour workshops for New York City teachers at BAM.
